Charlie Hibbler, 80, of Independence, MS, passed away on July 12, 2022 after a battle with lung cancer.

Charlie was born on July 18 1982 to Mary and John Hibbler in Southaven Ms. After graduating from Independence High School in 1990, he went on to study Navy Air Force at The Air Force Academy. After graduation, he landed his first job as a  Military Intelligence Officer for US Navy for twenty five years. In 1963 he met Von Allen/Hibbler and they wed in 1970, going on to have three children, Charlie Jr, Michael, Tonya Hibbler.  Charlie was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Michael , Michael , and Raven and always tried his best to support them.


Charlie was also a passionate with music and could often be found outdoors fishing/hunting when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Charlie knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Charlie was predeceased by John Moore, Bill Howell. He is survived by Mary Hibbler John Moore.


The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Thyatira -Tyro Rd. Church of Christ. There will be a [funeral service/memorial/celebration of life] at [July 16,2022 & 11am] at Thyatira -Tyro Rd. Church of Christ.
