Charlie Sears DeLoach was born on March 8, 1944 to the late Bennie Johnson and the late Lena Sears Grant. He entered into rest on October 3, 2018.
Charlie was educated by Effingham County Schools in Clyo, GA.
He was united in holy matrimony to Julie Ann Pinckney DeLoach on April 3, 1965.
He was a dedicated carpenter with H.A. DeCosta Co. for over 30 years until his health failed. He also worked as a carpenter part-time with Clemons Real Estated for several years.
Charlie leaves to mourn his death, his beloved wife, Julie Ann DeLoach; one daughter, Beborah Batts (Tawan) of Virginia Beach, VA; five sons, Charlie Jr. of Richmond, VA, Michael, Tony, Tyrone, and Gerald DeLoach (all of Charleston, SC); six grandchildren, Malcolm Murray, Essence and Justin DeLoach, and Darion, Bryanna, and Brayden Batts; three sisters, Fannie Pollard, Flossie James, and Althea Lonon (Anthony); three brothers, Doug Johnson (Bessie), Gerald Johnson, and Timothy Johnson; one special cousin, Rev. Dorothy Lewis (Elijah) of Brooklyn, NY, and many other relatives and friends.
