Charles W. Hoffman Sr., age 97, passed away on November 3rd, 2022. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Charles had touched in some way throughout his very memorable life. Charles was the beloved husband of the late Juanita, loving father of the late Chuck (Nancy) Hoffman, Patti (Mark) Jelen, Terri (Bill) Regnier, Mark (Stacy) Hoffman, and Bill (Anne) Hoffman. Cherished grandfather of Michael (Katie) Hoffman, Matthew (Danielle) Hoffman, Michelle (Steven) DeVries, Scott (Stacy) Regnier, Jena (Dan) Dennett, Aaron, Abby, Erik, Paul, and Emily Hoffman. Dearest great grandfather to Jordan, Avery, Brett, Elodie, Cadence, Owen, Evan, Joshua, and Benjamin. Charles was a dear son, brother, and friend to many.

Charles was proud of his military service in the Merchant Marines during World War II, as well as an avid fisherman and “Papa Charlie” for 25 years at St. Mark’s Mini School. He was a devoted family man who loved telling jokes and making people laugh. Charles had a quick wit and easy smile. He will be missed by all.
