EWING, Va. -- Charles Waring Beatty, 65, died Oct. 9 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

He was a native of Chatham County and retired from Huber Corp. He was of the Christian faith.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Lana Faye Beatty of Ewing; three daughters, Cathy Hunt of Richmond, Va., Julie Hutson of Louisa, Va. and Bridgett Cantrell of Hendersonville, N.C.; three sons, Chuck Beatty of Garden City, Ga., David Beatty and Brent Roberts, both of Ewing; his parents, Virgil and Mary Beatty of Pooler, Ga.; two sisters, Lynn B. Byrd and Martha Norris, both of Pooler; a brother, Norman V. Beatty of Bloomingdale, Ga.; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel, Pooler.
