I had no idea Lee had passed. I have so many fond memories of us as kids on Hallcrest! My brother hanging with the boys, and Cheryl hanging with Staci and I. Crazy times.

Mrs. Stanley, Brian, and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have fond memories of Lee and the time we spent together in high school and college. I am happy to read that Lee accepted Christ before his passing. I was very sad to see this posting but glad you shared many of the photos from the past at your home in Palo Alto.
Kind Regards,
L'Tanya Cooper (San Jose)

Aunt Yvonne, Cheryl, Brian and Rachel, my heart goes out to you during this time. Although I haven’t seen Lee in a while, we are all still family and our love for each other is always there. I remember him always being such a happy guy and full of jokes. Let your happy memories of Lee give you strength. If there is anything we can do for you, just reach out. Love to you all ❤️

Lee, my brother, you taught me so much as we were young in, junior high and high school. You were always so strong, sharp and smart. You ignited my passion for motorcycles by teaching me how to ride a mini bike and showed me how to stand up for myself which is still serving me well to this day. You will always remain in my heart and my memories. May you rest some power 🙏🏾. I love you brother.

Our families got connected because of Stanford U. When we were in high school and college, Lee was like another brother. He was always protective of me when we'd all hang out.
I remember a time I went to a house party in Palo Alto with Lee, Brian, and Hillena (sp?), and this guy asked me to dance. Lee stood less than two feet away from us the whole time, arms crossed, with a scowl on his face. The guy was terrified, and asked if Lee was my boyfriend. It was hilarious to me, but that guy didn't think so! I was just telling somebody this story about Lee the other day.
While I was at Spelman, it was nice to have both Lee and my brother Marcus at Morehouse. I knew I never had to worry about being safe. Once, after college, I went to a kickboxing tournament with Lee when he came to Atlanta. I had my camera ready, and TRIED to take pictures. But, his hands and feet were too fast! I clicked away, but didn't get even one shot. I would look, and the opponent would be on the mat. And Lee would be standing there grinning. The trophy he won that day was as tall as I was. Whew!
Lee was a kindhearted and extremely generous person, who loved to laugh, and loved life. I am most thrilled that he came to know his Savior, before he went Home to be with Him.
Mrs. Stanley (I know I'm over 60, but that's who you've always been to me😁...), Brian, Cheryl, Ruth & Hillena, you are all in my prayers. Lee will be greatly missed. Much love to all of you and the rest of the family.

Mr. Stanley took the time to work with me as I trained at American Black Belt Acadamy. He pushed me with tough fights, deep experience, and no-nonsense teaching methods. I thought it was about kicks and punches at the time. As it turns out they were great life lessons. Thanks, Mr. Stanley you have had a major impact on me and I will forever be grateful.

Family I’m so sorry to learn of Lee’s passing as there are so many fond memories during my high school years hanging at the house with Brian and looking up to big brother Lee…Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Lee has fought the good fight and he’s now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
