Age 71, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 12, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 19th at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Public viewing will be held from 12 noon-7:00 PM on Thursday, March 18th at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Min. Ellaree T. Simpkins; three sons, Charles Simpkins Jr., Ernest Lamar Simpkins and Dashaun Judge all of Graniteville, SC; two daughters, Kimberly (Gene) Robinson, Augusta, GA and Quanna Allen, Aiken, SC; five grandchildren; one-great grandchild; his siblings, Florence Bowers (Dr. Joseph), Albuquerque, NM, Jennifer Bennett (Eugene), Augusta, GA, Dorothy Dicks, Powder Springs, GA, Barbara McCarty and Donald Simpkins both of Aiken, SC, Valerie Nesbitt (Donas), Smyrna, GA; Tammer Roberts, Columbia, SC, Tom Simpkins Jr., Aiken, Terrell Dugger (Steve), Waldorf, MD, Tanya Smith (Lee), Charlotte, NC and Rebecca Crawford, Charlotte, NC and a host other relatives.
