Happy Birthday Grandpa from SpongeBob Square Pants!Grandpa really didn’t like SpongeBob. He watched it over and over and yes, again when the kids were here. I think he actually knew the theme song! Why not have a SpongeBob Square Pants themed birthday party for Pa with a decorated cake!

I had a lot of fun with my dad and great memories.  One that sticks out for me was fun and heartwarming.  He was a great grandfather to all his grand kids.  One Christmas season he and I went shopping for items for the children.   He was so excited to go and shop.  He got up out of bed very, very early and was ready to go.  I don’t know who was excited more, him or when the kids got their gifts!  He didn’t like grocery shopping, but this kind of shopping for the kids, he loved and made it fun.  I miss you dad and all of the many fun times we all had   You were a jokester and I think Karen can add some funny stories….Michael Myers! Lol ❤️

He was a caring person, extremely hard worker with good ethics and a wonderful father. He loved spending time with his family, playing baseball with his son. He and my mom were the perfect example of what a happy and loving married couple should be. “True Love” was their wedding song and they showed it to each other every day. 63 years of marriage and they held each other’s hands right up to the last moment of my dad’s life.  This may sound unbelievable, but their wedding song played on the music channel exactly at the moment he passed.  Maybe it was a way of him telling my mom she is his true love and always will be.  ❤️
