It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Brian. Charles Brian Penney peacefully departed on March 16, 2024.

Brian, lovingly known to family and friends, was a beacon of warmth and kindness. He exuded generosity, always extending a helping hand without expecting anything in return. His perspective on life was guided by his compassionate heart, finding joy in the smallest gestures and always being ready with a smile for strangers in need.

He cherished moments spent with his family and friends, captivating them with his infectious humor and captivating stories. Brian's passion for music and cars was unmistakable; he could effortlessly identify any hot rod that crossed his path and shared his enthusiasm at car shows and drag races, fostering friendships wherever he went.

An avid gardener, Brian found solace in the serenity of his garden, particularly nurturing his beloved tomatoes. His creativity knew no bounds, evident in his mastery of furniture refinishing and his willingness to impart his knowledge to others. 

A fixture at coffee outings, Brian's charismatic presence and signature hairstyle left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Above all, Brian's greatest joy was his family and friends, whom he loved and supported wholeheartedly. His unwavering loyalty and boundless love touched the lives of many, offering comfort and guidance whenever needed.

Brian's absence will be keenly felt by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. His memory will endure through the sparkle in his eyes and the legacy of kindness and generosity he has left behind. May his journey be enriched with love and boundless joy. 

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional medical team who cared for Brian with compassion and expertise. We also thank the dedicated nurses and home care workers who provided comfort during his final days.
