It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Charles Pelton III, who left us on September 28, 2023. Born on August 26, 1955, Charles lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy marked by love, laughter, and dedication.

Charles is survived by his devoted children, daughter Ashley Pelton, and sons Cody and Paul Pelton. He leaves a legacy of strength and love to grandson Logan Hartzell. He is also survived by his sister, Kris Becker; brother, Matthew Pelton; and sister-in-law, Cheri Pelton; niece Jennifer Jones; and nephews, Mark Pelton and Eric Becker. Charles was predeceased by his mother, Ruth Pelton, his father, Charles Pelton II, and his brother, Mark Pelton. The bond of family was very important to Charles, and the memory of his love will continue to bless his family in his absence.

Known for his laid-back, supportive, and good-humored nature, Charles had many passions in life. He loved to experience the freedom of riding Harleys, found relaxation in shooting guns, spending time with good friends and expressed his creativity by whittling wood. Yet, his pride and joy were his children, whom he considered his greatest accomplishment.

Charles’s passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his indomitable spirit and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His spirit lives on through his family, his joyous memories, and in the wind that passes over the open roads he loved so much.
