After a brave and valiant battle and surrounded by family, Charles (Charlie) Thomas Onesi, 70, of Allenton MIchigan, passed away on December 6, 2023..

Charlie was born to Jim and Louise Onesi on Jun 9, 1954 in Detroit Michigan.  After graduating from East Detroit High School, Charlie joined the Navy and proudly served his country for 4 years.  He then worked his way into the drafting and CAD industry, eventually making his way to GM as an automotive designer.

After retiring from General Motors in 2015, Charlie spent time with his family and friends, and enjoyed working outside on his 5 acres outside of Almont Michigan.  He loved the outdoors, and was an avid fisherman in his younger days.  Charlie also loved gardening and woodworking....he created many special things.

As a young man, he endured a great deal of personal loss with the passing of his parents, Jim and Louise, as well as a brother and sister, Jim and Carol.  Charlie is survived by his sister Linda Reichenbach and her husband Frank; brother Don Onesi and his wife Selena; nephew Patrick Brown and his wife Sara; his nieces Arianna and Marissa Onesi, and his great niece and nephew Lily and Aiden Brown.

Charlie, you truly were and always will be one of a kind, and the world is a much better place for having had you in it.  We were incredibly fortunate to have you while we did; you are and always will be terribly missed.  You have left an indelible and enduring image behind you.  

We will always remember.
