Charles “Chuck” Cameron Olma

October 26, 1956 – May 15, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” Cameron Olma, aged 67, on May 15, 2024. Chuck passed away peacefully at Royal Columbian Hospital surrounded by family.

Chuck was born in Vancouver on October 26, 1956, to Joseph and Theresa. He grew up in Vancouver. He spent most of his working life, until his passing, working for Surrey Metro Savings, later becoming Coast Capital Savings.

Chuck was known for his sense of humour and ability to chat about anything at length. Throughout his life, he loved the time he spent in his old Jeep and Volkswagen Beetle cruising around. In the evenings he enjoyed watching all the old cheesy monster movies. Chuck was always fixing and tinkering, whether he had a project on the go or not, he always found something to build or tweak. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie, his children Dan (Kandyce) and Tori, his grandsons Logan and Lincoln.

Chuck will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all those he touched.
