It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Charles "Chay" Hunt, who preferred to be called Charlie, on August 13, 2023 after a battle with Leukemia. Born on November 6, 1981, Charles was the embodiment of love, magic, and eternal kindness. His spirit was as vibrant as his favorite color, violet, and his presence radiated an angelic, otherworldly energy that touched every soul he interacted with.

Charles was predeceased by his loving parents, Betty and Calvin Hunt. Their love played a fundamental role in shaping the remarkable human that Charles was. He is survived by his brother, Calvin Hunt, his niece, Cheyanne Hunt, and his loving husband, Albert Hilton, whom he adored immensely.

Charles graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent, Ohio in 1999. His intellectual curiosity led him to develop a fondness for the book, "Earth: a spiritual trap and practical techniques to ascend". In his free time, Charles enjoyed engaging in a game of Trivial Pursuit, listening to his favorite musicians such as Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, Tamar Braxton, and Normani, and watching his favorite movie, Ghost. As a vegetarian, he was a lover of all vegetarian foods and had a penchant for alkaline water.

Charles had a deep love for his local community and enjoyed spending time at Tow Path Trail. A fitness enthusiast, Charles preferred Yoga, Pilates, gymnastics, and kickboxing as ways to keep himself fit and healthy. He was a well-traveled man with his favorite vacation spot being Ibiza, Spain. But his most cherished recreational activity was laying in the arms of his beloved husband, Albert.

Charles was a firm believer in giving back to the society and actively supported causes such as UNICEF, St. Jude's, and the American Cancer Society. Some of his greatest accomplishments included reclaiming the ability to love and forgive before passing from this world. His lessons on honesty, how to truly live and love, and spiritual evolution and ascension will forever be remembered.

Charles leaves behind a legacy of kindness, altruism, and magical living. He will be greatly missed by all those who truly knew him and had the blessing of experiencing his loving kindness. His life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and spiritual evolution. May he rest in eternal peace, and his lessons continue to guide us.
