Charles's obituary

Charles Hilton Morris III, age 64 passed away March 12, 2021 in Long Beach, California.

How do you sum up a lifetime of memories and accomplishments of the highly remarkable personality in a few short paragraphs?
Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Hilton was big, strong and kind, with big-sized dreams and a mindset of no retreat and no surrender. He was larger than life.

He traveled extensively, studied, served and lived in South Africa, Alaska, Norway, Washington, California, Houston, Texas.

It is easy to get carried away with the list of his notable family members. His ancestors came to Texas in 1836, established a ranch and later the city of Brookshire Texas. His mother Mary Lee Harris could trace her direct lineage back to the great George Washington by way of their grandfather.

Charles Hilton Morris was a Marine (enlisted in 1979-1982), a Presidential Guard, a Combat and Weapons Expert, an Action Actor, a Stunt Coordinator, a Film Director and simply an extraordinary man.

He made proud his teachers Kim Kahana (President of Stunt Action & Safety Coordinators, Inc.), David Boushey (Founder of the Society of American Fight Directors), Dan Inosanto (Actor, Stuntman. The Game of Death, The Immortal Dragon), Anthony de Longis (Action Actor. Fearless, Circle of Iron), and was proud of his students Renee O’Connor (Actress. Xena, Princess Warrior), Brian Markinson (Actor. X-Files, Wolf), Clare Carey (Actress. Coach), Emmanuel Delcour (Actor. CSI. The Battle).

Charles Hilton Morris was affiliated with TETA, TSCA, USITT, UTL, SAG, AFTRA, AEA, USFCA, IFPS and RGVP.
His Short Filmography includes: Ninja Vengeance (1988), Alamo IMAX (1987), Cohen and Tate (1989), I Come in Peace (1990), Black Show (1993), Conquest (1996), Puños Rosas (2004), The Battle (2007), Daddy’s Home (2010), etc.

Hilton looked forward to go to Spain and write a book about color meaning, symbolism, and psychology. He didn’t have enough time.
Despite anything, he came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. As always.

Hilton’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death. His family, friends and loved ones, his daughter Ann Marie Morris, will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
We will miss him every day…
