Charles H. Looney, "Chuck" 76, of Lubec, ME, passed away on August 30, 2022 after a very brief battle with rapidly invasive, inoperable cancer. Charles was born on August 19, 1946 to Manual Corwin and Ruby Marie Murrell-Looney in Cape Girardeau, Mo. After graduating from Thayer High School in 1964. he joined the United States Air Force. Charles spent two tours of duty in Vietnam, where he was twice wounded, and awarded 2 Purple Hearts …
