Charles's obituary
Charles Lewis Loewinthan. Or to others who knew him as Chuck. Many people who are names Charles can't all be a Chuck. Takes a little more in a Charles to have that distinction.
My dad died back in 2002 I think or maybe 2003 or maybe he is alive somewhere which wouldn't be shocking if you knew him. This obituary is way over due in my opinion no matter if he was a good or bad father to me. I was the youngest so I didn't know him the best of the 4 kids and I definitely didn't get the best of the best of him.
Let's talk about his life.
From what I understand he was am outstanding athlete. He was all city in soccer as a ferocious fullback. He was a phenomenal baseball player which def rubbed off on me growing up. My dad grew up with the best of things. Lived in Manhattan...had a butler. A limo. He definitely had his opportunities. Now I don't remember alot about him and most of the things I remember are bad. But this isn't the time to mention bad things. Everyone knows the bad. And also need to know the good. He made sure our Christmases were amazing. 4 kids wasn't easy for a hard worker ny city cabby. He always could make everyone laugh. He told some funny stories at dinner. Dad I'm 42 now. I crave the father son experience to this day. I always think what it would be like to have conversations with you and have raw clams and oysters with you. You missed out on alot with me. I have 2 boys your grandsons who are amazing. Let's start with Brandon who is 17. He was the most amazing little boy anyone could ask for. He gave me the best years of my life and you would of loved him. My other son Tristen who is 7. He has autism and even though it's a daily struggle he is so amazing and loving and cherishes me.
You also have a beautiful smart granddaughter names Makenzie from dawn. She is gonna be something amazing. Too smart. I guess i wanted to write this because all in all you were my dad . I miss not having you in my adult years. But in also glad you are in peace from your demons. Rest peacefully dad. See you when I see u down the road xoxoxo
