Four years, brother Chuckky, and still missed terribly and reminisced about- both Fred and I. Hope you are happily with other family and friends in the hereafter.
With many fond memories of my cousin Charles “Chuckie” Kucera as youngsters growing up and as fellow Army and Vietnam veterans, I offer my heartfelt condolences to Lauren and Ryan as well to his siblings Charlene and Karen. Charles was a good man and a good soldier. I am saddened by his passing and share the grief of his children and family.
To Lauren, Ryan, and all the Kucera Family,  Shari & I send our deepest sympathy. We share your sense of loss. Chuck and I met and worked together while he was at AMAX and I was in DC with the Mining Congress. Both of us had served in 'Nam (different places and assignments but pretty close  in time), so we bonded  quickly and became lifelong friends. It was an honor to be at Arlington with Chuck when his Dad was laid to rest. We shared some good Scotch in Owensboro when I "tweaked" a business trip so we could get together. In all the emails, cards and calls over the years Chuck's deep love for his family was always evident. You brought him great joy and pride. God bless you all, and Trung-uy Chuck.

Spending time with “young Chuck “was always a special treat for me. His jokes and his all around bright personality we’re always appreciated. My condolences to all the family but I’m sure wherever he is now, he is making it all the brighter.
I remember Uncle Chuck always had a great sense of humor and a good joke to share. He made several Thanksgivings at Mom and Dad’s (Chaum and Fred) fun and lively. He was very patriotic, loved his country, loved shooting guns and working in his yard and was very committed to the VFW. He will be greatly missed. Lauren and Ryan, thinking of you both at this difficult time and keeping you in my prayers.

I was saddened to hear of cousin Chuckie's passing.  He was almost one year younger than me....way too soon.  While I was aware he had some health issues, this was an untimely surprise.  We had some good times as youngsters, thanks to the Kucera estate in Pittsburg and my father's farm on the Eastern Shore of VA.  Time and geography afterwards created some distance.  The last time I saw Chuckie was at his father's funeral at Arlington.  He was in rare form, wearing his VFW uniform and marching in step with the horse carriage.  May he rest in peace.  Please accept my condolences to Lauren and Ryan, as well as to the remaining Cousins of the same generation.  I am unable to attend the funeral service, due to other commitments and timing.  In lieu of flowers, I have made a contribution to the American Cancer Society in the memory of Charles Joseph Kucera.

am so sorry to hear about Chuck.  He was one of the most intelligent people I've emet.  He was also very kind. Peace to his family. I
I will miss you dear cousin. The ‘Stada Baba’ from our grandparents little dining room is pointing her finger at you. You left us all too soon. You were keen-witted and a weisenheimer (in a good way) like your father. Fond memories from McKnight Road in Pittsburgh, your visits late into the night sipping Benedictine and Brandy at our home when visiting Alumax in Lancaster, the Hunt Valley gala anniversary for your parents, the Eastern Shore with Peter’s family and the flag presentation to you at Arlington are warm memories. Such a great photographer and memory keeper you were. I hope the ‘Stada Baba’ goes home with Lauren or Ryan. Heartfelt, cousin Margie
My heart goes out to those left behind, especially to my dear friend Lauren. I'm sending you and yours all the positive thoughts.
So sorry to hear of his loss. He had a great sense of humor and was really talented at putting videos/powerpoint presentations together. I remember one he did for his parent's 50th wedding annivwesry dinner. He had a picture of Charlene and him standing outside the house and said something like : here we are while Mom and Dad took a na;. Strangely, 9 months after this, Karen was born". He will be missed.
Lauren and Ryan,  We are thinking of you all as you face the challenges ahead.  Hugs to you both from the LaRoche family.
My condolences to the family.  Chuck and I were cousins.  His mother, Helen, and my father, John, were siblings.
