Charles's obituary
Charles Saron Knobloch (63) was born on the Monday after Mother's Day, May 11, 1959. He attended primary and high school in Howell, Michigan, where he was raised. He graduated from Michigan Tech with the first “Faculty Citation” and a B.S. in Geophysics in 1980. Professionally, Charles spent 22 years in the oil and gas business, where he was awarded for advancements he made in imaging technology. He completed a law degree at the University of Houston, received a diploma in International Law (Russia) from the University of San Diego, and studied European Law in Spain through the College of William and Mary. With his diverse interests, in his later career, he maintained a private intellectual property law practice helping many achieve their creative aspirations.
More importantly, as a late-stage survivor of cancer, which he contracted at the age of 32. Charles utilized his 30 years of remission extremely well. He was a passionate lifetime learner, inventor, planner, dreamer, traveler, collector, and connector. He loved to travel and explore. But he always found his way home to Katy, TX where you could often find him bicycling or spending time at his favorite meeting place, The Bagel Cafe, which also served as his favored workspace. He often met people there to explore future endeavors and make introductions. Through this, he developed many dedicated connections.
In this, he leaves behind an extended spiritual family consisting of many dedicated, loving friends that were loyal to him to the end. Their care, compassion, and prayers were felt by many, but mostly by Charles during his last months.
He is survived by these friends, his daughter Danielle Knobloch of Texas, brother Faustyn Knobloch (Rhonda) of Virginia, Michigan sisters Caroline Knobloch and Amy Terrell, Wisconsin sister and nieces Leona Knobloch, Ellisha and Adrielle Nelson, and his parents Ameaila Caroline and Faustyn Edwin Knobloch of Michigan.
Heartfelt gratitude is sent to Charles' medical care team in Houston, Texas - Dr. Douglas Tsuchida, Dr. Luis Campos and his staff, Memorial Hermann Hospital 7th Floor Encology staff, and the Harbor Hospice family.
