2023, Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce networking event at Heritage Bank
Charles and I were outside Heritage Bank intently talking about memories and connections and talked right through the presentation going on indoors. My apology Heritage Staff. Charles loved his connection to Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo with John Madden. They would Walk n Talk about their days there and whatever current event was on their minds. Charles was an elite sprinter and loved to tell the story when he outran OJ Simpson. Having invented the Memory Stopwatch in 1978, I loved discussing Track with Charles.
We were very sorry to hear of Charles' passing. Our sympathy and prayer is with the Huff family. We were all better (and lucky) that Charles volunteered his time to coach and inspire us around the track. As a resident still today, I am truly grateful for Charles' dedication to making Pleasanton a great town.
I am so sorry to hear of Charles's passing. We were fortunate that Charles designed a lovely addition to our Jensen Tract home - an entertainment/play room to enjoy with grandkids and guests, which has become the heart of our home. It was as if our home was an old friend of Charles. He knew the history of our home and the development, which we learned was the first subdivision in Pleasanton. He told us about the builder, Mr. Jensen. During our design meetings, we managed to fit in time to chat about our families. Charles proudly gave us updates about Ryan, Tyler, and the grandchildren. Charles was a gifted and talented architect and a fine person. He definitely left Pleasanton better than he found it, preserving its history and historic landmarks, and designing new buildings in keeping with Pleasanton's charm.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Thank you, Charles!

We are so very sorry to hear of Charles passing.   Charles was one of our favorite happy and pleasant people as he was to all that knew him.

Dear Kay I am so sad to hear about Chuck's sudden death.  He was my most favorite Noble to talk with on the trips I have made with Bill.  He had such a dry sense of humor and I loved listening to the history of all the projects he took on.  You and your family are in my prayers and I hope that the support of friends is a comfort to you.  Katina

The Everton Family is deeply saddened by the loss of Mr. Charles Huff. May your sweetest memories of his wonderful life be a comfort to Kay, Ryan, Tyler, and all your family.

Dear Kay and family,

I am sad to hear of Charles passing. He was a joy to know and to work with. Pleasanton will miss a true character and friend.

I’m very sorry to hear this news. Your dad was always a huge supporter at all of our sporting events growing up. I’ll always remember him rooting for us.

Kay, Ryan and Tyler  -

Charles lived his life to the fullest surrounded by what he loved most;  family and friends.   May your wonderful memories fill your hearts at this time.

Our heartfelt condolences,

Glenn, Carolyn and Family

So very sorry for your very sudden loss, Kay, Tyler, and Ryan and the grandkids. Charles certainly did a lot for the Pleasanton community.  And what a jokester he was — always with a twinkle in his eyes.
