Our love and deepest sympathy Anne, Penny, Andrew and Angus. Charles and all of you are beautifully embedded in our memories of life in Saskatoon and Halifax.  Charles was indeed the epitome of excellence as a clinician and researcher.  It was an honour to work with him at the start of our own careers and a true privilege to be a friend

Love George and Glenda

Thinking of you, your Mother, and Family, Penny, as you grieve, heal, and remember your Dad. Sending love and hugs from All of Us, Susan, Bobby and Family
Dear Anne and family: So sorry to hear of Charles's passing. My sympathy to you all.He accomplished so much in his lifetime, but I'll always remember him for his giant chrysanthemums and the cacti in his little greenhouse. I'll look for your rose climber when I go along Ridge Rd. this summer. May he rest in peace.  Rosaleen McDonald.

My condolences to Anne and family . Charles was a great person . Working with him i always respected his care of patients and his support of staff . Outside of work he had a great dry wit, and was indeed an excellent dancer .

With all our love to our Canadian Family - I have very fond memories of Uncle Charles and am sharing many of them with Mike. One in particular was the flight from London to Canada for Penny's wedding and dear Uncle Charles came to pick Louise and I up from the airport in Halifax. However due to a cancelled flight and a missed connection (?)  we wernt there.  With no mobile phones in those days we couldnt contact anyone and  I believe he came to the airport to greet every flight we could possibly be on until we eventually arrived a day later. - and he welcomed us so warmly.

Thank you also Uncle Charles for teaching my son to say " Fill your boots"  which he continued to say along with "Candy" long after your visit to NZ.
