Happy Birthday baby! It's been a very busy year down here. Gabe got his driver's license, a truck and a motorcycle... and our youngest grandchild graduated high school. Ashley will celebrate her golden 30th birthday next Saturday. You would be so proud of what an amazing Mom she is! And lil Liam just celebrated another birthday with us, what an adorable ham he is! Hailey and Nathan were married last Saturday in a beautiful intimate ceremony officiated by her Aunt Nikki. I know that you are watching down on us with love and so much pride in our beautiful Grandchildren. We are very blessed! My only wish is that you were standing beside me to share it with. Happy Birthday baby. I loves you, always! ❤️

I spent today with our beautiful family. Even lil Liam came and drove his lil car all over your backyard. It was a beautiful, sunny and warm afternoon and Ashley even did a bit of gardening and cleaned up the clematis bed. She brought me some new plants to plant as well. Hailey brought her engagement photo album and is ordering me a set of all my favorite pics of her and Nathan. What a beautiful couple, they kinda remind me of us at that age and the journey they are about to embark on. Poor Patrick worked most of the time here, takes alot after you. It brings me such joy to watch Melissa as a Grandma now. Liam only has eyes for her and wants to be beside her every moment. Gabe is a head taller then me and about to graduate high school. Can you believe he is as old as I was when we married. Our baby is growed up. It's been 47 years for you and me, 3 years as of today that you've been gone now. But somehow you are still a big part of our lives and always will be. I miss you everyday and loves you everyday. Always!

Thank you baby, that means so much to me. It was June 26, 1976... but you were close! It was a beautiful day, and a beautiful life we built together. It went so fast, it's like I'd blink and it was our wedding day. I'd blink and Melissa was born, I blinked and Adam came. Then it was school activities and I blinked and our first Grandchild Ashley came... then blink,  Hailey, and blink,  Gabe. I blinked and the girls graduated, blinked and they graduated college. Blink, our first great grandchild, Liam came... what a cutie. And now 
blink, Gabe our youngest grandchild is a senior in high school. Where did the time go between those blinks? I know thats where we lived that beautiful life, between the blinks. But I wished I could have slowed time down and savored every moment between those blinks. I blinked again and you were gone, not in my heart and in those memories between the blinks. Now I'm holding onto those memories and, trying not to blink while making new ones. And I know you are still sharing in them. You are still walking beside me, hand in hand, inseparable as in life.
