Background
My father, Charles, passed away on April 5th, 2025, in Payette, Idaho. My father was suffering for the better part of the past year with multiple health issues, the main one being his chronic Crohn's Disease. He was on the hunt to find a medication that would lessen his symptoms.
On March 24th, 2025, my dad woke up to the feelings in his legs gone. Once he got to the ER, they determined that he had multiple blood clots in both of his arms and legs. Due to his GI issues, doctors could not give him the necessary medication for the blood clots. After multiple surgeries, the doctors found that the clots had traveled to both of his lungs.
Our family is devastated. My father has been very sick many times throughout my life, but he always seemed to have gotten through it. Unfortunately, this was the one battle he was simply not strong enough to overcome.
All donations made will go towards cremating my father, as well as having his ashes spread in Seminole, Texas, where his mother is buried. We appreciate any and all help in getting my dad to his final resting place.
