Charlie's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Charles "Charlie" Foca, who left us on April 3, 2023, at the age of 77. Born on January 6, 1946, Charlie was a quiet, hardworking, and independent individual who enjoyed a good laugh and cherished the simple things in life.
Charlie was predeceased by his loving parents, Russell and Lucille Foca. He is survived by his sister Connie Carnes and his nieces and nephew – Valerie Pittman, Kathy Serra, and Brian Carnes. Family meant the world to Charlie, and he will be greatly missed by them.
A man of many interests, Charlie found joy in gardening and grew beautiful vegetables such as tomatoes, onions, and peppers in his garden. His love for music was embodied by his appreciation for the Dutch violinist and conductor, Andre Rieu. An avid action movie fan, Charlie also enjoyed spending time collecting stamps and doing home projects.
One of Charlie's greatest accomplishments was his long and illustrious career at Mercedes Benz, where he worked for many years. A hardworking and dedicated employee, Charlie's life lessons centered around the importance of perseverance and determination.
Despite not having a wife or children, Charlie leaves behind a legacy that is felt and appreciated by his family, neighbors, and friends. His sister Connie and the entire community will dearly miss him, remembering the impact he had on the lives of those around him.
As we bid farewell to Charlie Foca, we celebrate his life and cherish the memories he leaves behind. May he rest in peace, knowing that he will never be forgotten.
