Background
Anyone who knows Dad knows how much he adored dogs. After retirement, he spent many years in Oak Island happily volunteering with SOAR, a no-kill animal rescue. We even adopted a few SOAR dogs along the way. I can't think of a better way to honor his memory than to help the folks at the SOAR shelter.
