Charles's obituary

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Charles Elumbaugh on August 5, 2024. Born on December 6, 1946, Charles lived a life of action, integrity, and absolute dedication to his chosen crafts. An exemplary figure in his community and a beloved family man, his presence will be deeply missed.

Charles is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl, who stood by him in every phase of life, and their children: their sons, Kenneth, Bryon, and Bradley Elumbaugh and daughter in laws, Brandi Betty Elumbaugh, and Katie. His grandchildren Mark Sheldon, Daniel Elumbaugh,  Melissa Elumbaugh, Shaylann Elumbaugh and her husband Solomon Cram, Aaiden Elumbaugh, Jace Elumbaugh, Ashton Elumbaugh, McKenzie Elumbaugh and great granddaughter, Aria Elumbaugh.  His love for his family was unwavering and their cherished moments with him will be held close in their hearts.

In 2011, Charles was honored with the Jacksons Circle of Excellence Award, an accolade representing his unparalleled professional achievements and his commitment to the standards of his field. His legacy will be recalled through his exceptional work ethic, and his mantra of "Building with Integrity and Quality".

A true enthusiast of sports, Charles always showed strong support for the Boise State University teams. His favorite performances to watch were BSU Football and PGA Golf. Charles never faltered from living a life filled with excitement and enthusiasm. His favorite vacation spot was Reno, Nevada, a place that brought him much joy and fond memories.

As we bid farewell to Charles, we remember him not just for his professional success but also for the love and joy he brought into our lives. He will be greatly remembered and sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
