I was lucky to get an opportunity to work with Charles over the last year at Vultr. Charles' friendliness and upbeat enthusiasm showed in everything he did, and in every conversation he participated in. I really appreciated his willingness to both teach and learn -- assiduously volunteering for onboarding new team members, sharing his deep and broad knowledge, and helping to push along lots of big initiatives.
We all miss Charles a great deal at Vultr. I for one continue to feel his absence every day, and wish I had had a lot more time to get to know him and tackle fun projects together. Our condolences go out to his wife and children, whom he gushed about regularly at work, and everyone else in his family in their time of grief.

I am lucky to call Charles a close friend all the way back to 8th grade of middle school at Viewpoint. He was such an intelligent, caring and passionate person. He was also a caring father of three children. I will never forget the fun times I had with Charles over the past 20 years. I know he’s in heaven with one of his and my favorite teachers, Dr. Levy.

We are deeply saddened by Charles' unexpected passing. We have fond memories of Charles at Viewpoint, as well as of the girls. We send our deepest sympathies at this great time of grief. We hope as time passes the joyful memories of his life will assuage your deep feelings of sadness and loss.

Charles came in to my life as my intern some 16 years ago or so. I was a new assistant in the international dept of Interscope Records and in walks this smiling, shining, kind and hardworking kid Charles. I remember him being very young (maybe a senior in High School but am not sure) but so brilliant. Incredible understanding of systems; problem solving, holding multiple things in his head at once which was not easy at Interscope at that time. Most of my college interns were 1/2 Charles as far as performance.
It was through Charles that I met Chuck - who came all the way down from the proverbial (and literal) top floor to say hi and get an idea of what Charles was up to. I remember the excitement in the whole section that Chuck was showing face to the assistants. As I came to understand over the many years of our friendship - thats just Chuck....
I saw Charles from time to time through out the building over the following years. He was always so charming and engaging. He was the epitome of a great kid. Thats what I would say to somebody as Charles would say hi "thats charles, Great kid - love him"......

Although I didn't know Charles, I have known his father for a while now having the privilege of working with Chuck, a person of great integrity. So, my heart is full for Chuck, Candace, Lexi and their children, as well as all who knew and loved Charles. God bless and comfort you, and I pray that you find some measure of peace in time.
