Charles B. Sterling, affectionately known as Chuck to his family and friends was born on December 1981, Chuck was a shining light, a beacon of light, love, kindness, respect, and generosity in many people's lives. On July 2025, this bright light was dimmed, but his legacy will forever remain.
Chuck is survived by his sister, Andrea Sterling, and his brothers, Christopher Gordon (Marvine) and Andrew Sterling Nija). He also leaves behind nephews Sean Roberts, Lamar Roberts, Paul Gordon, Peter Gordon, Kiva Sterling, Jahi Sterling, nieces Sadea Gordon, Tianni Roberts, Saniyah Roberts, grandnephews & grandnieces, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and an entourage of musical brothers.
Chuck formed a special bond with everyone he met, his friendly nature enabled him to create a vast extended family of musical brothers and church family & friends. His love of family, friends, and music was the very embodiment of his existence.
Chuck was predeceased by both his devoted parents, Marjorie McCarthy Sterling and Herman Sterling. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Phillip Sterling. Their love and teachings have remained with him throughout his life, shaping the wonderful man that he became.
Chuck was a man of many talents, but his most notable accomplishment was his ability to engineer unique music blends. His passion for music was infectious, and he inspired many around him with his exceptional talent. The lessons Chuck shared with others were those of humility, generosity, tenacity, and endurance. His humble nature, kind spirit, and unwavering resilience will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Charles Sterling was a man who was described as loving, kind, respectful, friendly, committed, generous, and amazing. He truly was one of a kind. He will be deeply missed by all. May his soul rest in peace and his legacy live on.
