Charles V. “Charlie” Beard, 58, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, April 01, 2015 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Charlie was born December 4, 1956 in Roanoke and lived in Garden City his entire life. He was the son of the late Saylor Flora and Margaret Frances Carper Beard.

Charlie was an electrician for the Electrical Workers Union for many years.
He is survived by 2 brothers.
