I have waited to write this and yet I still do not have the words. Charlie and Carol are combined words in my mind. You lifted each other up with light, love and humor like no other pair I have ever known. Your lives intertwined on a voyage so profoundly deep and connected that you a so much fun to be around and we all lived vicariously through your adventures . Of course from my perspective, you were always like that. However, you brought it out of each other in new ways. Hold onto that piece my sweet girl. You will never lose your own thirst for life, love and knowledge and you will really never lose Charlie. He will be a part of you forever. Love you - Lauren

The golden thread of love, the love you and Charlie found and shared so generously with everyone around you, will always connect you... and keep carrying you through. We are grateful for that gift!
Our deepest condolences to you and your family Carol, love, Andrea and Tom

Definition of a true man - could drive a 100,000 lb truck and still loved getting a pedi.
