Charles's obituary

Charles "Chip" Campbell, 69, of Tampa, FL, passed away on March 22, 2024 knowing he was deeply loved.



Charles was born on June 29th 1954 to Lillian and Marvin in Eminence, Indiana. He graduated from Eminence Highschool in 1972. He met his beloved wife Renee in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida going on to have 1 child, Bonnie.


Charles was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his daughter Bonnie, granddaughter Claire, and wife Renee and always tried his best to support them.


Charles was also a passionate basketball fan and player when he was younger and he loved fishing. Anyone who knew Charles knew that he was the most loving Grandfather a family could ask for. Charles was predeceased by his wife Renee, Brothers: Clark and Rick. He is survived by Daughter Bonnie, Granddaughter Claire, Son-in-law Adam, life-long friends Cindy and Ed, and lovingly cherished friends Jay, Nancy, and Yolanda.


The family requests that in lieu of flowers to please take time to hug and/or call a loved one and have quality time.... For time is precious.
