Charles's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles "Charlie" Kelley, a remarkable man, who left us on Friday, August 1, 2025. Born in 1938, Charles lived a full life marked by kindness, resilience, and a love for his family. Charles was a pillar of strength and wisdom for his family, and his passing leaves a void that can never be filled.
Charles joins his wife of since 1959, Patricia Siska Kelley (1940-2020), in heaven. He was devoted to her and missed her everyday that they were apart.
Charles is survived by his children, Mark Kelley, Linda Kelley, and Jennifer McCracken. His loving daughter-in-law, Connie Kelley, and son-in-law, Greg McCracken, will greatly miss his warm presence.
Grandchildren were the light of Charles' life, and he leaves behind Stephanie Carter, Stacie Gingras, Amanda Kelley, Sean Hauserman, and Devin Hauserman. He was fortunate to have Great-Grandchildren Lexi Mathis, Jason Mathis, and Skylar Gingras. His life lessons, stories, and the memories shared will forever be cherished by his adoring family.
Charles was a lifetime member of the Masonic Order. A second generation member, he started as a member of the Demolay and continued his devotion to the order throughout his lifetime.
Charles proudly served his country in spite of a diagnosis of "flat-feet" as a member of the New York State National Guard.
Charles' legacy is a rich tapestry of love, strength, and resilience woven through the hearts of his family. His spirit will continue to guide those who loved him, his memory acting as a beacon of hope and source of comfort in their times of sorrow.
Charles' remains will be cremated and a memorial bench for him and Patricia will be placed near his parents at Forest Hills Memorial Park, in Palm City, Florida.
