Charlene's obituary
Born in Vancouver she spent her early childhood in Gibsons with her parents, 4 siblings and Granny McQueen. She always said the sunshine coast was her most favorite place, filled with fond memories of her youth and extended family. In 1964 the family moved to Kamloops where she graduated from North Kamloops Secondary in 1970.
Charlene spent most of her adult life in the Burnaby area where she became a very successful Real Estate Agent. She continued to reside there until her passing. She was a “bit wild” and was always up for any adventure. She had a brave and courageous spirit that served her well as she faced many ups and downs in her life. She was a fighter and faced every challenge head on.
She loved people and enjoyed being surrounded with friends and family. Her door was always open and she was the glue that kept us all connected. Having a house full of family and friends for dinner was important to her and something she cherished. Her greatest joy over the last few years was being Grandma to Niko and Olivia. They were the “light of her life” and her love and joy for them is endless.
Charlene touched many people’s lives and was special to so many as a grandmother, mother, wife, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed.
We know we'll often stop and think about her.
