Charjeaiam Ann Andersen (Latimer-Johnson-Andersen-Clark)
September 7, 1977 - January 31, 2021
Charjeaiam Ann Andersen, affectionately known as Chari, was known for her boundless love and infectious spirit, she passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 43. Born on September 7, 1977, in Anacortes, WA to Patricia Heatherington and Donald Latimer, Charjeaiam's early life was marked by resilience and a capacity to love that knew no bounds. At the age of three, she was adopted into the Johnson family, becoming a beloved granddaughter, cousin, and niece to Patricia's second husband's family..
Charjeaiam's life was a testament to the power of family and friendship. She married Lucas Andersen and together they raised three wonderful boys: Anthony, James, and Ryon. Her home was a sanctuary for many, always open to anyone in need, embodying the role of a mother to all who knew her. Charjeaiam's vibrant personality lit up every room; she was loud, unapologetically herself, and extraordinarily beautiful inside and out.
Her love for the outdoors and zest for life were evident in her passion for places like Deception Pass and the horse monument at the Vantage Bridge. Charjeaiam cherished coloring and bringing beauty into the world, found solace in reading, and enjoyed the peace of nature's company. She pursued an education in accounting, but her true dedication was to her family. She selflessly set aside her career to be a full-time mother and caregiver.
Charjeaiam was a nurturing force in her sister Crystal Johnson-McCauley's life, teaching her everything from daily chores to invaluable life lessons. Crystal fondly recalls how Charjeaiam taught her to walk, brush her teeth, read, and write, clean up messes, and even how to jump-start a car and change a tire. Charjeaiam's influence extended beyond typical sisterly duties, guiding Crystal through life's ups and downs with the love and wisdom of both a sister and a mother.
Charjeaiam's legacy is carried on by her beloved dog Barthalameow (aka Barfy), her three sons, Anthony, James, and Ryon, her husband Lucas Andersen, best friends Leslie Perkins and Michelle Mahoney, her mother-in-law, Patty Petrowitz and her sister Crystal McCauley. She is also survived by her brother, Ryan Sorenson; her aunts, Linda Hoffman, Sherri Martin, and Alisson Latimer; her uncles, Mike, Brian, Ivan Johnson, Bob Pearson, and David Martin; her cousins, Stevie and Justin Larsson, Tara Watkins, and Jason Montgomery; her nephew, Charlie Ronk; and her niece, Lorria McCauley, as well as many other cousins, aunts, and uncles from the Johnson and Latimer families.
She was preceded in death by her uncle Steven Larsson, parents Patricia Heatherington and Donald Latimer, grandparents Jean and Gary Liming, Nana Charlotte Dale, Grandparents Ernest and Debra Johnson, close friend Eric McElMurray, and her childhood best friend, Eddie Romerdahl Jr.
Charjeaiam touched countless lives with her generosity, kindness, and unwavering love. The world was truly blessed to have been graced with her presence, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
Rest in peace, Charjeaiam Ann Andersen. Your spirit lives on in the love you shared and the lives you touched.
