In lieu of flowers

Please consider a contribution to Help Alleviate Expenses Incurred For Mom's Care.

Background

We created this fundraiser to help cover the funeral, cremation, and final medical expenses of our beloved mother, Charito Etulle.

In January 2023, our mother suffered a major stroke that left her paralyzed and eventually affected by dementia. From then on, she required full-time care, including two round-the-clock caregivers, medications, and frequent medical visits and physical therapy. Despite our best efforts, the emotional and financial toll was immense.

What made this situation even harder was the heartbreaking reality that our mother had earlier been scammed out of her entire life savings, properties, and assets. Her children and grandchildren took on the responsibility of supporting her needs, leaving her with no financial cushion.

On July 26, 2025, she went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors attempted to revive her. Despite their efforts, she passed peacefully shortly after.

🙏 How Donations Will Be Used

Your support will help us cover:
• Funeral and cremation costs at Heaven’s Garden
• Other wake services, flowers, transportation, and setup that is not covered partially by her funeral plan
• Her final hospitalization and emergency care
• Ongoing caregiving and medical expenses from her last two years
• Remaining obligations from the previous months of our mother's care

🌷 How You Can Help

If you feel called to give, we have included donation options in this memorial webpage for our mom. Your prayers, presence, and support mean everything to our family. Thank you for helping us give our mother the loving and dignified farewell she deserves.
