Chad was one of the kindest, most loyal and dedicated friends I've ever known.  You could trust him with anything and he could make you laugh in the darkest times.   He will always be missed but memories of him will always make me smile.
Hi, I received the email to share a story about Chad. I don't have one particular story to share, except to say that every time I encountered Chad, he was genuinely glad to hear from me, meet with me, or see me in person. If I needed to get a hold of him for something, I always looked forward to making the call. He just had a way of seeming delighted to hear from you. That takes a special person to make others feel that way. And I know it was genuine.  I am definitely thinking of him on his birthday, and Alicia and the boys.

Hi Alicia - I am very saddened to hear this news. I was honored to attend your wedding to Chad. I remember how happy you were when he proposed.! Years have passed but the memories linger. If there is anything I can do please reach out. Even if it is just to talk. We used to reflect on the pain of loss especially both having lost a parent untimely. I cannot imagine your grief. I am sending you much love to you and the boys.

My sincere condolences to the entire family. Chad was always such a class act and is truly missed. I think I initially met Chad almost 20 years ago in Manhattan Beach if I recall. I used to host an event every 3-4 months or so we called Dinner Club which was a bunch of private equity guys and investment bankers just getting together for steak and beers. Chad was one of the regulars and would never miss a dinner. He always made fast friends with everyone there, the regulars and the new comers to all of our dinners.I wish I had the opt to have spent more time with Chad as we always had a great time on those occasions (or those random nights out in Manhattan Beach in our single days…). Such a great guy. A family man. A wonderfully smart and successful professional who never took himself too seriously. One of those genuinely good guys in a very competitive industry that can be lacking at times. And taken away from so many people who loved him far too young. Lots of love to the family.
Sending deepest condolences to the Spaulding and CapitalSpring families.

Alicia, I just heard today (10/13) about Chad's passing.   I am so sorry.   This is extremely sad and I am very shaken.  Chad was such a great, warm human being and very smart.   We participated on two industry virtual panels this year and I sold two businesses to him in recent years.    We worked together at Trinity for several years as well.   Again, please accept my deepest condolences.

Praying for comfort and strength for you and your boys, dear Alicia. ❤️

Hello, Alicea,    Cliff and I think of you and the boys often.

We know your entire world has come crashing down, and for that we are so sorry.  This small contribution seems so inadequate, but it is hearfelt, nonetheless.  If you ever want to vent some or all of your very big feelings, my phone is open to you 24/7.  609-744-4442.  I have had to grieve some people in my life, and often a stranger provided a really good sounding board.  I know you take care of Silas and Wyatt, but please do not forget about yourself.  Peace and Prayers 🕊

Alicia, I am keeping you and your boys in my prayers. Silas and Wyatt are so blessed to have you as their mom, I know the strength you have and will use to guide your family forward through such difficult times. Although I never met Chad, loved keeping up with your family on social media and could see the love and partnership you two shared. I am so sorry for your loss. I send you and your family my love and deepest condolences.
Lots of love, Courtney Knittel

Condolences to the Spaulding family. Chad had open arms when we joined the chapter and was always warm and friendly - always willing to help and give advice and feedback.  Our hearts go out to your family during this difficult time.
I was incredibly saddened to hear about Chad's passing.  I met Chad back in 2005 when we worked with Trinity on the purchase of Creekstone Farms.  Chad and I stayed in touch, shared ideas and opportunities over the next sixteen years.  I valued his strategy and advise, but most of all I just enjoyed knowing him as a person.   In an industry that can be very tough, Chad always stayed true to who he was.  I will miss our interactions and wish the very best for his entire family.  Chad will live on through all the people he touched so profoundly.
Alicia, Silas, Wyatt, I am so profoundly sad for the loss of Chad in your life and mine.   He lived a great life and a life that I admire in many ways.  The funeral was really a moving event for me.  I felt your grief and wish I could help.   Alicia you were strong for your kids and you honored him well in the ceremony.   I was really moved by the beauty of it all.   I came home and for the last week I have been telling my teenage sons that "they are strong enough, they are smart enough, and they can accomplish anything if they work hard and don't give up."    I guess I am just trying to keep a piece of Chad alive in my life.    Dana and I wish you well and hope to see you in Manhattan Beach soon.
I met Chad as a friend of the Spaulding family. He had the special quality of making you feel like the only person in a room. I’m thankful for getting to know him and he will be truly missed. My heart goes out to the entire family.
