Chad Roy Garritson went home to Jesus on May 19, 2021 at age 34.
     Chad was born to Steven and Teresa Garritson on October 7, 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska. He was born 8 weeks premature and entered this world a fighter. He was our miracle.
     Chad was an only child for the first 6 years of his life until his sister, Charity, was born, and then two years later his second sister, Chelsea, was born. He loved his sisters so very much. He watched over and protected them and was a wonderful big brother. Chad brought so much joy and love to his family and friends and never held back in his love for them.
     Chad loved Alaska and spent the majority of his life there. He also loved dogs and had many throughout his life. (Rainbow, Sam, Toby, Boss, Kavik and Moose)
     Chad's most precious gift was his son, Kayden Rea Garritson. They had many happy father-son times together. Memories and pictures will be shared with Kayden always. Chad loved his son dearly and Kayden loved his Daddy very much.
     Chad joins his great-grandparents, Royce and Dorothy Derks, Lysbeth Derks, and Dee and Helen Rea, as well as grandparents Melvin and Helen Garritson in Heaven. He is survived by his 9 year old son, Kayden; his Dad, Steven (Maggie) Garritson; his Mom, Teresa (Vic) Pearce; his sisters, Chelsea (Jacob) Hamilton, Charity (Taylor) Weis, and nephew, Ryder Weis. Blended family siblings, Nikki (Falon) Harkins, Carissa Pearce (Joel Loosli), niece, Jacey; DJ Sorono; PJ (Chrismalyn) Sorono, niece, Keona; Junelyn (Jeff) Ponce; grandparents Jim and Leanne Derks; Jess and Sarah Pearce, and many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins, and lots of extended family.
Chad will forever be in our hearts, loved always and dearly missed.
