Celia's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Celia Pettit, who went to her heavenly home on July 11, 2024. Born on September 2, 1951, Celia enriched the lives of those around her with her robust spirit and boundless love. She was dedicated to fostering a world of inclusion and accessibility, passionately advocating for people of all abilities. Celia's unwavering commitment extended to volunteering with numerous charities and causes in the local community.

A woman of great strength and determination, Celia's radiant smile and unwavering kindness will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her departure leaves a void in our hearts, especially Melissa and Fred. She was a wonderful mom who sacrificed every single day for them. Her memory lives on in them as well as in her sister, Mary Boring,  brother in-law, Bill Boring, two nephews, William and Jason Boring and great-nephew Declan. Celia was preceded in death by her parents Jennie and Harry Tamaccio and her brother, George.

Although our hearts are heavy, we celebrate the life she lived and the enduring influence she has left behind. The memorial service to honor Celia's life and legacy will be on Saturday, July 27th. Calling hours will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with service beginning at 11:00 AM. The luncheon is immediately following the service at 12:00 PM.  The location is Langhorne United Methodist Church. The address is 301 East Maple Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047.

In the meantime, we are deeply grateful for your loving support during this difficult time. Your kindness and condolences mean so much to us.
