Cecile Jensen, 62 of Waterbury, CT, passed away on January 13, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.

Cecile dedicated much of her life to working in a factory, where her tireless work ethic was evident to all who knew her.

In her free time, Cecile found joy in bowling and cherished her time spent on her computer. She loved playing games and staying connected, often chatting with family and friends, bringing warmth and laughter to those around her.

Cecile would always prioritize the wellbeing of others over her own.

Cecile is lovingly remembered by her three sons: Robert Sedlak of Lexington, SC; Andrew Sedlak; and Jason Sedlak, both of Waterbury, CT. She is also survived by her four cherished grandchildren: Dominic Sedlak, Derek Sedlak, Mckenna Sedlak, and Dylan Galullo.

Additionally, Cecile is remembered by her three stepchildren: Heather, Matthew, and Stephanie. She leaves behind her five beloved sisters: Karen, Carol, Anna, Nancy, and Theresa; and her two brothers, Robert and James.

Cecile was predeceased by her parents, Mary Ann and Roger Lavertue, as well as her two sisters, Sharon and Gail, and her brother, Roger.
