Cecile's obituary
Cecile "Cissy" Baker-Nixon, age 58, of London, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, at Saint Joseph Hospital in London, Ky.
She leaves behind one son James "Jamie" Nixon of London, Ky, one brother Joseph Baker (Alissa) of Atlanta, Ga, and one sister Gladys Baker of Chicago Heights, IL. Beloved nieces and nephews are Kazrina, Chanel, J'Anthony, Annrea, Kazie, and great-nephews Jayden, Marvon, and her great niece Mykeyah, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Jereline Baker, son Warren R. Baker, one brother Fredrick Baker and one sister Carolyn Andrews.
Cecile was a member of the North Main Christian Church where she loved singing in the choir. She developed a love for the Lord at an early age and would share her testimony of what God had done in her life. She loved spending time with her son Jamie as well as traveling to visit her brother and sister. She loved to read various books, especially the National Inquirer. Cecile had a big heart when helping anyone who came to her.
The memorial service for Cecile Nixon will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 26 at House-Rawlings Funeral home.
