Cayde-6 was a Character in the popular video games Destiny and Destiny 2. He was an exo hunter for the vanguard and was the main Hunter you talked to for quests or other hunter activities throughout the game. As the hunter class is the most popular in Destiny, Cayde-6 was an obvious fan favorite from the very start of the game with his comedic relief throughout dialogue, skills through the game, and his exceeding confidence. Throughout the universe of Destiny, Cayde had us running around from time to time collecting weapon stashes which was his specialty in work, he often buried and hid a lot of his personal belongings and weapons across the universe. Cayde was one of the most gifted people in Destiny and helped a lot of people throughout both of the games, but all good things must come to an end to create new creations. Destiny 2 was at one of its lowest points when the first two expansions came out with that being Curse of Osiris and Warmind, something obviously needed to change. They needed to add more story to their expansions and they did on August 28th 2018 when they decided to kill Cayde-6 for the new expansion, there was no way anyone said there was not enough story now because they killed the main Character of the game.

Cayde-6 died in heroic fashion as the story follows events after Cayde-6 is killed while trying to contain a prisoner outbreak at the Prison of Elders initiated by Uldren Sov, seeking his lost sister Queen Mara Sov. During the prison break Cayde-6 falls to the bottom of the prison and he fights off a new enemy type scorn, he eventually is safe for a moment and pulls out his ghost, after he does his ghost is shot leaving him not immortal. As he is already pretty injured from his events with the scorn just moments before Uldren knocks Cayde-6 down while pointing a gun, he asks if “Cayde has any last words” which Cayde-6 responds with “How’s your sister?”, which he killed in the last expansion and with that the screen turns to black as your hear Cayde-6s inconc gun the ace goes off as he is killed. Cayde-6 will be remembered forever throughout history as one of the funniest, most badass, and best Characters in video game history.
