Cathy and I became friends thru the preschool friendship between Megan and my son Danny. I was in awe of her as an impressively loving, patient, creative mom. I also envied that clean house and wished to learn her secret! We’ve kept in touch over the years and finally had the chance to visit more at the Parkinson’s support group.

David, Megan and Heather I’m so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have another visit to catch up with Cathy’s life story.

Shared times with Cathy on lazy afternoons out on the Yuba are among my treasured memories. Our girls would be playing nearby. Also, we’d share a few moments when dropping off our daughters for play dates and sleepovers. The connection was deep and genuine. Although I moved to San Francisco nearly 30 years ago and Hailey has been in Australia for over 20 years, Cathy and I would intermittently connect…and there’s always Christmas cards. I feel the loss - my heart goes out to you, her beloved family. Hope to join by zoom as I’ll be in Australia with Hailey then.
