I am so sorry, Taylor and Christopher. I have so many fond memories of your mom… We laughed and we cried together… true friends are few and far between, but she was one of my true friends. I will miss her…
I think of your mom so often, Taylor <3 Especially when I wear her gorgeous floral shirts that always get many compliments. I am so grateful that I got to know her and share time with her as we prepared for your move to Midlothian. I know how happy she was to be living with you and your support and care for her was such a powerful gift. I love you and am always here for you bb <3

Cathy was one of the best nurses I have ever worked with. She was so kind and compassionate to her patients and coworkers but with a take no shit kinda attitude if need be. I remember her speaking of her kids often and how proud she was of them. Cathy had a great sense of humor and like any ER nurse the facial expressions to match whatever scenario we ended up in. Thank you for being a wonderful teacher, friend and pushing me to become a nurse. I will always remember the ins and outs of adenosine, and the importance of not taking yourself too seriously because of you. Thank you and I’ll be sure to leave a turkey sandwich out for you tonight, you will be missed.
My name is Wendy (Adams) Dwyer. I’m so sorry to hear of Cathy’s passing. I grew up on the farm Nextdoor. I have very fond memories of our lives on the farm and sleepovers. Even though we lost touch after she graduated high school and joined the military I saw Cathy at her dad’s funeral and we were able to reconnect and meet for lunch. 🙏

I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. She was so kind to me when she hired me in my first nursing job. She always had my back. Even though we only talked a few times since I moved away 14 years ago, she will always be remembered.
