Cathy V. Vigil-Madrid, 60, of Milan, NM passed away on November 13, 2020 after a couragous battle with cancer.
Cathy was born on April 29, 1960 to Melecio and Josie Vigil.
Cathy graduated from Grants High School in 1978 and was united in marriage to Paul Leonard Madrid in August 1985.
Cathy opened her own business in Grants, NM, notoriously known as "Pro-Kuts by Cathy", in which she successfully ran for several years. She later pursued a career as a paralegal and worked as a victim's advocate with Cibola County.
Cathy was known for her generous heart, infectious smile and gregarious laugh.
Although Cathy went through many tribulations throughout her life, her most proudest, was her daughter Abby, whom she loved and adored.
Cathy enjoyed company of close friends and family, going to the casino, singing, laughing and music.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Melecio and Josie Vigil, sisters; Mary Margaret Vigil (infant) and Rosella M. Vigil-Garcia, brothers; Melecio "Jr." Vigil and George Vigil, brother-in-law, Dennis Dominguez.
Cathy is survived by her beloved daughter, Angelica Abelina "Abby" Vigil, husband Paul Leonard Madrid, sisters; Norma Dominguez, Maria "Liza" Chavez (Curly) and Hope Lujan (Edwin), brother; Joe Vigil (Judi); several nieces, nephews, cousins, God children, extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place and our beautiful Cathy was laid to rest on January 19, 2021 in Grants, NM.
