I am saddened to learn this news. My condolences to the entire family. Cathy cut my hair for 35 years. Because I traveled she accommodated me as a drive by client. Always smiling and full of stories I followed her to various salons wherever she was , then finally settling back to Art and Chemistry. She will be missed! May the memory of Cathy be a blessing to all.

I’ve known Cathy and Judy since childhood. While I’m the same age as Judy, whenever I spent time at the Vinocur house, Cathy was with us. We went on some trips together later in life. Cathy was always adventurous, colorful, and fun loving. As a shy kid, I looked up to Cathy. Both Judy and Cathy had a positive influence on me. I kept up on Cathy’s life events through Judy and always wished the best for her. May she rest in peace and may her lively spirit live on in Judy and Dylan 💕

I am so saddened by the news of Cathy’s passing. She had cut my hair for over 20 years, we became great friends and yes she would do anything for you.
We hadn’t spoken much over the last 5 years but she was a great person who even when things were bad for her always had a smile on her face and was always worried more about other peoples lives and if they were ok , then herself . When times were tough for her she always worked harder and always said everything would be ok.
She always put Dylan before anything and anyone and was a great Mother.
The joy she brought to people around her will be missed.

I was so very sad when I heard the news of Cathy's passing. Cathy has been a good friend for years. She was always positive and willing to help all her friends however she could. I will so miss our conversations and sharing stories and just knowing I could pick up the phone and call and she would always listen and have good advice. Cathy loved her son Dylan so much and my heart goes out to him and her sister Judy. Rest In Peace my friend. You left us too early.

Cathy was my hairdresser for over 25 years but she became a good friend and confidante. She was always so upbeat and positive. When she was first diagnosed with cancer, she knew she would beat it! We all prayed that it would happen. The last time I went to her apartment in May, I brought her my homemade chicken soup and matzoh balls. She and Dylan loved it. I was so happy to see her and so hopeful that she would recover. Rest In Peace my dear friend!!❤️
