Cathy's obituary
She lead a fast-paced life in her youth, but motherhood brought about a slower pace of life that she lead until the end. In her life, she gave birth to three children: Jason Vannasdall, Calvina Cutrell (née Adams), and Sarah Urquidez (née Fisk), but she raised many more children that she came to love as her own throughout her life. They too mourn the loss of a mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse of over a decade, her beloved sister, 2 older brothers, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who greeted her at the Gates.
She left behind her children (biological and nonbiological), their children, her nieces and nephews, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, other family, and many friends. She touched too many hearts to list them all!
Phillips Funeral Home has been entrusted with her cremation. Her wishes were to have her ashes scattered into the ocean, as her one wish left unfulfilled was to visit the beach. In lieu of a formal service, a dinner will be held in her honor at a future date, so that family and friends may gather in memory of the life and love that has become Cathy's legacy.
