With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cathy "Nan" Brow on May 4, 2025. Born on December 30, 1929, as a beacon of love and kindness, Cathy enriched anybody who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she was affectionately known as cathy she always preferred to be addressed as Nan.

Her memory will be honored and cherished by her surviving daughter, Mistie Brow, her son, Mike Brow, and her adoring grandson, Alan Brow. Cathy was predeceased by her father, Ronald Brow.

Cathy’s life was marked by memorable milestones, one of which was becoming a mother in 1970. Her love for her family was boundless and was matched only by her love for simple pleasures in life. A connoisseur of the palette, Cathy's favorite foods were beans, hot dogs, fruitcake, and cherry chocolates. Her preferred drink was coffee, but of course, that only complemented her love for 50's music, TV shows like Bonanza and MASH, and games like Yahtzee.

Known for her skillful hand, Cathy spent her leisure time sewing, fishing, and knitting, often accompanied by her favorite cup of coffee. Her personality was one that was always there when needed, and she left no room for sadness when her favorite color, red, was around.

One of the best lessons Cathy had to share was that of cooking, a testimonial of her nurturing spirit. Her achievements were many, but serving as a Navy nurse was one of her proudest moments.

Cathy's legacy will stand as a testament to her love and kindness. Her loss leaves a void that can never be filled, but her life leaves memories that will forever be remembered. She will be missed, but her spirit will continue to live on through those who loved her.
