Remembering Cathy and Phil today with this sweet reminder.  Thank you!  Their lives and the beautiful love story they created are remembered by family and friends who still love and miss them.
Our deepest sympathy, Phil and family, upon the sudden loss of your beloved Cathy. She made life brighter, happier and more beautiful for so many, but for you she was your rising sun and calm evening breeze. May our Lord Jesus Christ come to you during this very difficult time and give you comfort, strength and joy in every waking and sleeping moment, that in memories of your lives with Cathy you will always be blessed.

For 25 years we have been blessed to call Cathy and Phil Eisel neighbors in this "little slice of heaven" we call home in Edgewater Park. Here, working together, Phil carefully manicured their lawn while Cathy created a masterpiece of flowering trees, shrubs, and plants, along with iron works, pottery, and seasonal decorations for all of us to enjoy through the years. It has always been one of our favorite views along Rumsey Road, often with Cathy gardening in the early morning hours and again towards evening, managing every little detail until she achieved her vision of beauty. What made this extra special for us was her sending off or welcoming home to the neighborhood, which we always looked forward to... a graceful nod of her hat-adorned head or a gentle wave of her garden-gloved hand, and she let us know all was right in the world we have shared for so many years. Cathy has always been the picture perfect gardener I aspire to be, a kind and gentle spirit, a lover of cats and plants and birds and trees, and art, a sweet friend and good neighbor whom we wish could have stayed a little while longer.

Cathy was my best friend. Lived 2 doors south for 18 years. Phil and her came to our home just 2 months ago for brunch.
So thankful I had these precious hours with her.
