Cathleen Ann Hardin (nee Morrill) was born February 22, 1958 passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024.

Cathleen had a caring heart and contagious laugh. She built her career of many years in finance and customer service with a great sense of pride and loyalty to her clients.

In her later years, she made her dream come true and published a book of her poetry. Cathleen continued to express herself through several artistic pursuits and loved music. She adored being a grandmother to Aurelia Halvorson of Indianapolis, Indiana. She lived with her husband, Mike Lingelbach of Ames, Iowa. In her final days, Cathleen was cared for with respect and tenderness by the amazing Hospice staff and volunteers at Israel Hospice House in Ames, Iowa.

Cathleen is survived by her husband, Michael Lingelbach; daughter, Normandy Halvorson; step-daughter, Micah Faisal; grandchildren Aurelia Halvorson, Shams Faisal, Sophia Faisal, Micah Faisal, Michael Faisal; brother, Frank Morrill; brother, Ronnie Morrill; sister, Lisa Vining; and several nieces and nephews with whom she shared special connections.

Though Cathleen has left her physical body she always believed that spirit peacefully remains with loved ones. Upon her cremation her remains will be incorporated into a wind chime to be forever moved by gentle breezes.
