How you can help

Although Cathy intensely loved her family, she also had a special place in her heart for all animals. From the moment I met her as a teenager, she showed a deep love and concern for all furry and feathered friends, both wild and domestic. Her adoration of cats, birds, dogs, fish, and all of nature’s beings was contagious. She showed me the value of being patient and empathizing with all living things. If she could, Cathy would take in every stray that crossed her path. She even took a parakeet I could no longer care for and helped everyone see the value in all of God’s creatures.

I hope this cause helps people to remember Cathy’s unconditional love for many things, but particularly animals, especially ones in need of care, and her selfless devotion to them. Contribute to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)
