Cat's obituary
Cat Marcial, 34, of Jena was born February 3, 1987 in Tucson, Arizona. She moved on from this life Thursday, July 15, 2021. She brought joy into everyone's life. She was the strongest person. In December 2016 she was in a terrible car wreck that led to a traumatic brain injury. For months she relearned to walk, talk, and eat. Despite doctors not being sure she could mentally progress very far, she showed everyone she was a champion. She not only healed herself, she healed her family and was the glue that held them all together.
She had already met the love of her life, Roosevelt, when the family moved to Louisiana in 2009. After her accident, they reconnected and she already knew she wanted to be a mom. They became engaged and she gave her life, to save their daughter Kenna.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Kenneth Kincaid I, Reynaldo Mateo Nieblas; Uncle Kenneth Kincaid, Jr; and Cousins Jonathan Kincaid and Kenneth Kincaid III and many other friends and family who she cherished dearly.
Those of us left to cherish her memory and love her daughter include her daughter Kenna, fiance Roosevelt Nash, parents Carlos and Regina Marcial; Grandmothers Regina Kincaid and Betty Marcial; innumerable family and friends; and her best friends and sisters: Nely "media naranja" Marcial and Christy "Buzz SDMC" Marcial-Henslee.
