Catherine Ann (Prezioso) Mackin  went to sleep in the Lord on April 22nd, 2020 at the Willows Nursing Home at Ramapo in Suffern, N.Y.

She is survived by her daughter Danielle Mackin and,  preceded in death by her daughter Noelle Mackin.  She had two granddaughters: Nicolette Mackin and Kaitlan Mccormack.  Cathi was born on Sept 19,1943,  a daughter of the late Tullio and Anna Prezioso.  She was sister to the late Edward Prezioso and her surviving sister, Annette (Prezioso) Emerick.

She was born and raised in the Allerton section of the Bronx, N.Y. The family moved to Westchester County (Yonkers) where Cathi married the late Robert Mackin  (the father of her children). She later moved to Portchester, New York prior to moving to the Willows, in Suffern, N.Y. 

She was very creative. She enjoyed craft making, photography and oil & water painting.   At an early age, she would do charcoal sketches of fashion designs, revealing her talent even back then.  She also was a hairdresser, a civil servant for the City of New York, an administrator at Portchester Housing and, worked for the county of Greenberg before retiring.  She was fun loving and had a good sense of humor, even when faced with the tough realities of this life. Cathi was a people person and was loved by many.   She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. But, in all of this, we do find comfort in that, Cathi received Jesus Christ as Savior in her lifetime so, we know that we will see her again!
